Respectfully collecting & burying torn Qur’ans to preserve sanctity, offering a needed religious service with full integrity.
Old and damaged copies of the Qur’an are often discarded without respect in many parts of Pakistan. Sabiqoon’s Qur’an Preservation Project ensures that worn-out Qur’ans are collected from mosques and homes and buried with dignity. Volunteers conduct awareness drives about proper handling of the Qur’an. By offering this religious service, we honor our faith and serve communities in both urban and rural areas.
We focus on fulfilling a religious obligation to protect the holy text. Our program collects torn Qur’ans from across Wah Cantt, Rawalpindi, and villages. We hold respectful burial ceremonies (Pishin) according to Islamic tradition. Alongside collection, we educate communities on the importance of proper Qur’an care and replacement.
